What will I achieve?
When you graduate, you’ll receive an internationally recognised Dental nurse (integrated) (level 3) (NCFE Dental qualification, recognised by the UK’s leading professional association, the General Dental Council. You can work in the Dental industry straight away as a registered Dental nurse or choose to develop your skills through further training.

How long is the dental nurse apprenticeship course?
Once you successfully complete your dental nurse apprenticeship course within 12-18 Months by attending either 1 evening session or 1 half day session online, incorporated with practical observations. This is your fast track way to launch a new career. You NEED to have a passion in dental and commit to practising the techniques.
How will I learn?
You will be taught by a Dental industry professional who will guide you through practical observations and theory through online live sessions using Zoom application.They will push you to reach your goals and you will be assessed on your theory skills with written assignments to make sure you fully understand the importance of nail anatomy.

Requirements need
Be aged 16+ at the time of enrolment. You can also apply for an apprenticeship while you’re still at school but you’ll need to be 16 or over by the end of the summer holidays to start the apprenticeship.
Be a UK or European Economic Area (EEA), or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past three consecutive years
Not already in full-time education at the point of enrolment
Not already hold a qualification at the same level or above in the same area that you wish to study

Depending on the route you choose, applying to become an apprentice is FREE of charge for learners (no payment is required for our learners).
Apprentice’s duties
Will predominantly support the dentist or hygienist while they undertake their duties. This includes sterilising instruments, preparing filings, cleaning the dental surgery, and carrying out stock control.
What career opportunities do I have?
Progressing as a senior dental nurse or with further training you could also become a Dental hygienist, Dental Therapist, Orthodontic therapist. With additional qualifications you may be able to teach or become a dental assessor and even move into jobs like team manager or by completing level 4 become a Dental Practice Manager.
