Shape Image One

The Financial Times (FT) is one of the world’s leading business news and information organisations. We are recognised globally for our authority, integrity and accuracy. We provide a broad range of essential services, including news, comment, data and analysis, to the growing audience of internationally minded business people.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the FT’s Cyber Security Engineering team. This is a hand-on development and evangelist role working with other engineers in the team and across the department to lead the development and adoption of tools which help improve security across the organisation.

Our technology

A non-exhaustive list of the types of tools we tend to use:

Nodejs; Python; AWS ECS; Lambda; Github; CircleCI; OAuth 2.0; SAML; Fastly and VCL

We don’t expect you to have worked with all of these, it will be a bonus for us if you have worked with some of them.

You can also get an insight into how we work from our FT Product & Technology Medium publication .
